MINDS Coaching and Consulting participated in the 2025 Boosting Subcontractor Readiness Conference hosted by the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce with support from the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service (FCS) and the U.S. Department of State in partnership with the U.S.-Ukrainian Business Council (USUBC) and American Chamber of Commerce Ukraine (ACC Ukraine).
This conference was designed to foster stronger collaboration between U.S. and Ukrainian businesses in the context of Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.
The conference was focused on the critical role of subcontractor readiness in recovery projects, particularly the need to align Ukrainian small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international best standards and expectations.
We are grateful for both conference days, September 3-4, 2025, full of essential information in the context of legal compliance in U.S. government subcontracting.
We explored best practices in regulatory compliance, contract performance, and navigating differences in business culture.

During the sessions we were guided how to identify subcontracting opportunities, meet the expectations of prime contractors, and form joint ventures or business associations to better compete for largescale tenders.
By refining these skills and building connections, the conference strengthened us in forming meaningful partnerships with international businesses to advance reconstruction efforts, especially in creating sustainable, long-term commercial linkages with U.S organisations within large-scale recovery initiatives.
