How is executive coaching different from business or leadership coaching?

Executive coaching is about a leader’s role in an organisation.

It includes leader’s vision, values and behaviour.

The main focus of coaching interventions is on a leader’s clarity, self-awareness, priorities, and actions.

By contrast to business coaching, executive coaching is about organizational strategy.

Business coaching is about leader’s commitment and leader’s performance in business.

The responsibility of the business coach for their client is to unlock the coachee’s potential to perform at work.

This method differs from executive and leadership coaching as the focus is about business development.

Leadership coaching is about team performance, effective workforce planning, boost of employee engagement, and building relationships at work.

A core difference of the leadership coaching, in comparison with executive and / or business coaching, is that the point of concentration is on how to operate as an authentic and impactful group leader
