ICEF Berlin 2025: The Premier Event for International Student Recruitment
Our founder, Iryna Vilgash, as a representative of our sister company Wake Up Education visited ICEF Berlin 2025, the premier event for international student recruitment over the past three decades which significantly shapes the global education sector.
With over 50 face-to-face meetings conducted over two days with industry professionals and senior leadership, Iryna Vilgash was honoured to attend expert-led seminars and visit reputable business schools and German universities as well.
She has given a brief summary of attending ICEF Berlin 2025 highlighting that:
- among the world’s top 20 student cities represented in QS’s 2026 ranking, Seoul and Tokyo are #1 and #2.
Internationalization in Korean Higher Education is one of the leading trends in global education.
- Employability matters more than ever.
That's why, prestigious business schools and universities cater to the needs of employers and really refine the programmes or design new ones. Greentech Start-ups is one of them. Professors and Senior Managament in Germany have started to implement coaching tools and techniques on a regular basis to encourage students to think and take responsibility.
- Return on investment and student satisfaction are clients’ priorities.
The international students ask for value and measurable outcomes more deliberately than ever before. They partner with the agencies, educational counsellors, to be equipped with the most important indicators of high-quality education in order to make well-considered decisions in this VUCA world.
- The shifting of traditional Big 4 country destinations (USA, UK, Canada, Australia) to the alternative Big 14 (Germany, France, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, etc.) has an impact on student mobility and career outcomes.
As MINDS Coaching & Consulting assists senior leaders in business with vocational education services on the organizational level and MBA programmes, Iryna Vilgash emphasizes the role and importance of education counsellors, professionals in global education, who really work with big data, analyze systematic researches, network with high-level industry management, and visit the institutions onsite.
It is worth mentioning that in this context a group of our companies offers the additional value: along with a high level of knowledge in international education and a solid network of partnership relationships with leading educational institutions in Europe, Asia, the UK, the USA, Canada, and Australia, we do have a deep dialogue with employers, business owners and game-changers in the international market which enables us to be one step ahead.
